Privacy Policy

This policy explains how STEM MATRIX handles information when students and families use this website and its learning services. It applies to information collected through account creation, course enrollment, webinar requests, classroom features, and support.
Information we collect
- Account and profile: student name, email, optional student phone number, account identifier, and sign-in/session information. Supabase Auth processes passwords; STEM MATRIX does not store a plaintext copy or retrieve existing passwords.
- Parent or guardian: guardian name and contact number, plus an optional guardian email address.
- Consent record: account signup records the acceptance time and displayed version of this Privacy Policy and the Terms and Conditions in account metadata.
- Enrollment and payment verification: requested batch, enrollment and payment status, payment method, notes supplied for manual verification, and verification timestamps. STEM MATRIX does not process payments through a payment gateway on this site.
- Webinar requests: name, phone number, address, email, approval status, and administrative notes needed to handle the request and share approved meeting details.
- Learning activity and class communication: student-marked attendance, teacher verification or correction, review notes and attendance change history; live-class access; class doubts and teacher replies; class discussion comments; and online test attempts, selected answers, marks, percentages, results, and permitted answer explanations.
How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, respond to requests, verify course payments manually, administer enrollment, provide classes and learning materials, record and review attendance, answer student doubts, moderate class discussions, administer online tests and calculate results, support students, protect the service, and meet applicable legal obligations.
Who can access information
STEM MATRIX administrators can access information needed to operate the program. Active teachers may access information needed for their assigned teaching work, including class doubts and comments, attendance records, verification notes and history, and test submissions and results for their assigned batch. Students can see their own attendance history and test results. Answer keys and explanations are shown only when a teacher has set them to be released. We use service providers to operate the website and its features, including Supabase for authentication, database and file storage; Netlify for website hosting; and YouTube for live video embedding. If you choose the Buy Now account flow and agree to continue to WhatsApp, the site prepares a message containing the student and parent/guardian names and contact details you entered, plus the batch request. Your password is never included. You can review the message and choose whether to send it to STEM MATRIX at +91 7367015689. WhatsApp handles information you send under its own terms. If you contact us or follow a WhatsApp payment instruction, that service also handles information you provide directly to it under its own terms.
Cookies and session storage
The site uses authentication session storage needed to keep you signed in and protect access to account features. You can sign out or clear browser storage, though doing so will end your session.
Retention, correction, and deletion requests
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to operate the course, maintain enrollment and payment-verification records, resolve disputes, protect the service, and meet legal obligations. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, email stemmatrixindia@gmail.com from the account email and describe the request. We may need to retain records where required for legitimate operational, safety, accounting, or legal reasons.
Students under 18
Parents or guardians should provide accurate contact details and supervise a minor student's use of the service. Where applicable law requires parent or guardian consent, we will seek it before processing the relevant information.
Security
We use account access controls and private storage settings in the services described above. No online service or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Please use a strong password and contact us promptly if you believe an account has been accessed without authorization.
Changes and contact
